Road Captains

Our Road Captains play an important role in helping NSW HOG deliver safe, organised and enjoyable rides for our members and guests.

Road Captains assist with planning ride routes, leading and guiding organised Chapter rides, supporting group riding practices, and helping members understand ride procedures, formation riding, hand signals and general ride expectations.

Road Captains are often the most visible officers on a Chapter ride. Their role is not simply to get the group from one destination to another, but to help create a ride environment that is safe, welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable for riders of varying experience levels.

They work closely with the Head Road Captain, Safety Officer, Assistant Director and Committee to ensure Chapter rides are well prepared, clearly communicated and conducted in line with H.O.G. expectations and NSW HOG procedures.

Whether you are a long-time member, a new rider, or joining us for your first Chapter ride, our Road Captains are there to help make the experience relaxed, organised and enjoyable.
